ENGINES

Explorer Marine are not tied to any manufacturer and, therefore, can work with the customer to specify power units from all manufacturers. While currently we can offer excellent deals on Evinrude ETEC two stroke high technology engines, or Suzuki four stroke outboards, we have in the past worked with Honda, Mercury, Mariner, Johnson and Yamaha outboards, and Caterpiller, Yanmar, Steyr, and Mermaid inboard diesels.  The choice of engine for any application is determined by the power and weight required and the customers own views with regard to service centres and prices.
